“At the intersection of Adriene Lenker and Emmy Lou Harris, you'll find a central coast artist and studied jazz musician, Emily Franklin. A talented multi-instrumentalist, her original music shows a special sense for melody with tender, poetic lyrics forming a powerful match to her emotive, raw, and honest vocal delivery.
Studying piano from age 6, Emily found herself inspired to develop her musical abilities so she could more fully and easily express herself.  By age 13, Emily found inspiration to move forward in her pursuit of music in artists  like The Beatles, Eva Cassidy, and Susan Tadeschi- Longing to jam with friends and perform herself- She found herself studying Jazz at Cuesta College.
Over the years, Emily has been fortunate to play in multiple jazz ensembles and bands- fine tuning her own artistry visually and musically.”
